Dial 15.9 Herz For Blood Flow
Aerotel has started a clinical trial for heart patients at the Sheba Medical Center using a technology that is not based on drugs or any invasive form of intervention.
Instead, the company has developed a device that generates electromagnetic waves to improve the flow of blood.
About 30 patients suffering from effort angina will participate in the trial. “These are patients who have difficulty moving, and who have exhausted the potential of therapeutics such as beta-blocker drugs, coronary catheterization, and open-heart surgery,” says Prof. Mickey Scheinowitz, Aerotel’s Chief Scientist. He explains that the device, when worn by the patient, enables patients that suffer from chest pain during exercise to walk and go about normal daily activities.
Effort angina is only one of many heart disease indications that the product is expected to benefit. The product is already in use for the treatment of various forms of pain, including acute and chronic pain of the skeletal and muscular system, in countries around the world.
Another clinical trial that has been recently approved is to test the effect of the MDwave device on the autonomic nervous system in patients suffering from chronic musckulo-skeletal pain. The company is also about to conduct a similar trial, with dogs that have undergone orthopedic surgery and treated with the MDwave device, to determine healing improvement after orthopedic surgery.
The mechanism of action for the device comes from the field of frequency medicine. For the heart device product, company scientists discovered that generating electromagnetic waves at a frequency of 15.95 herz effectively stimulates blood vessels that increase the flow of blood into the heart, and reduce calcium ion current into the cells, thereby improving blood flow and reducing force of contraction in the heart.
Aerotel has received safety certification and currently is looking for strategic partners and distributors in the US and other countries.
